Nominate a “Local Underdog”
Nominate the wacky character in your life to be a local underdog. We
are looking for people whose unusual hobbies, stories, collections
and approaches to life would not typically be newspaper-worthy, because
we believe they are.
Maybe your teacher has a wacky approach to history class, your neighbor
has a huge ball of rubber bands, your daughter’s soccer team plays
with heart but has never won a game or your husband talks with ghosts.
We are looking for people who may not have changed the world as we know
it, but they’ve entertained and/or inspired you.
